When everything is of divine nature, we could ask ourselves why a spiritual pathway at all is necessary when everything literally happens in the background of God. Every thought of mine, every action, is of divine nature. When everything is God, why do we have to undergo a correction process?
Many people who come to Kabbalah or Cabbala don't understand the structure of the worlds. And so we often see people busy with throwing half-truths around. Evil is real in the same way as the force of gravity. You won't mess with it. Last year I thought I could jump unproblematically from the garage of the car of my grandfather and experienced what a few meters could mean for your body. So we should not believe that we're in the Matrix movie here. There are Christian cult members who let themselves be bitten by snakes, and then they have died, because mere faith as we understand it in our language is not sufficient to transcend the laws of nature.
The problem with Gurus, especially in the 70s and 80s, who represented radical non-dual approaches to spirituality like Advaita Vedanta, etc., was that after they had convinced their students that they would be already enlightened, the students, after they had returned home, soon fell back into their old negativity and common behaviors. It is true that enlightenment is the only thing that is actually the case and thus cannot be attained by anyone whatsoever, but in the same way, the worlds of the Klipoth are also very real for the limited view of our mind. A seed can sprout, but no one guarantees you that it actually will. That's why the panic and schizophrenia of man.
In meditation we unveil the layers of consciousness that are hiding the light of the ultimate. Many people who have had a great spiritual experience in meditation already describe themselves as enlightened, while a true master of transcendence is not promoting himself as such in the public. When we read the stories of some Gurus and other cult leaders, we could ask if, against all claims, there was maybe still a big ego hiding under the surface?
First, one must be ready to choose a path. After he has chosen it, he must be willing to stick to it. We cannot change our approaches to spirituality like we change our clothes. When we develop our thinking around ideas like the 10 Sefiroth, we must follow this process for a lifetime. And when we have, there remains only one option: to surrender. One who has surrendered to the divine will breathe godliness through every pore of his body. First we're technical in our approach to spirituality, then we become non-technical. And so life will become a spontaneous dance of those energies of the 10 Sefiroth—binding by striking. The path leads steeply upwards, and only a few will be able to constantly dwell in the palace of the king.
