Introduction to Cabbala

We must learn to understand that the spirituality of the Bible is based upon a sacrificial system. Without the sacrifice, there is no Kabbalah and no Cabbala. The main difference between Kabbalah and Cabbala is that in Cabbala we believe that Jesus has sacrificed himself as the lamb, which has replaced all other offerings from the temple service. While Judaism is awaiting a third temple with animal sacrifices, in Christianity we believe that there will not necessarily be a third temple. There are some theories that there could actually be a physical third temple, but the common view is, as the book of Revelation states, that the lamb is the temple.

In the book of Hebrews, we learn that the temple after Jesus's sacrifice is merely supernal and that we all have a chance to serve as priests in this supernal temple. We must regard this as a matter of spiritual attainment and not a mere matter of faith. When we have not attained the spiritual state called temple, we're not spiritual priests. Today everyone believes that he will rule with the Messiah in heaven, but those people don't consider that even the New Testament is full of strict spiritual rules and requirements, more of a moral nature, of course, than a ritual one. A spiritual vessel must be prepared through walking in paths of righteousness. Jesus told his disciples that if their righteousness doesn't exceed that of the Pharisees, they will have no chance to enter the kingdom of heaven.

The kingdom of heaven is not something that is awaiting us only in the future or that would exist in another physical place. Jesus told us that the kingdom is inward of us or in the midst of us. This means that the kingdom of God is a dimension that permeates matter, but because of our uncorrected properties, we're completely blind to this reality. The faith of the crucified Messiah, spiritually seen, is like a cosmic pipeline that pumps light and energy through a network of worlds and angels down into this physical reality. What we receive from this connection are the Mochin from higher worlds. This term can be translated as the intelligences or lights of the upper worlds. When we merge with the mind of the upper system, we become like it, and we thus acquire all knowledge and wisdom that exists on these spiritual levels.

In Cabbala we don't merely believe that an external Messiah will come to redeem us without our own inner work. The external reality is always a reflection of our inner state, and as long as we have not attained messianic consciousness in ourselves, we won't experience a physical Messiah in the outer world. The narrow pathway is a hard one, and only a few will find it. The narrow pathway is the pathway of expanded consciousness connected with the moral principles of the Bible. When we apply those, we will walk our path firmly, and we will enter the palace of the supernal king. There everything seemingly lost in this life will return, all contradictions will solve, and all holy pathways will meet. True immortality will be the new reality. Life will be filled with blessings, as in current times it's filled with chaos. From suffering we move to blissfulness; after we have mastered all the tests, the king has prepared for us.
