The spiritual world is the energetic field that connects everything and everyone with each other. We can get access to this domain through immersing ourselves in the holy books. When we read the Hebrew or Aramaic terms that describe spiritual phenomena, we draw upon ourselves the Or Makif - the surrounding light. This surrounding light will correct our inner vessels so that we can elevate our soul to the world that lies beyond time and motion.
In relation to the higher world, our world could be described as a water world. That's why Jesus used the term 'fisher of men.' Like a fish, we're drawn out from the world of time so that we could enter dry land. And so it is no coincidence that Moses as well was drawn out from the Nile. Peter walked with Jesus upon the water. This is the symbolism of the fish cap of the Catholic Church, namely that one receives energy from the upper world through the open mouth of the fish. Headwear has a highly esoteric meaning in the Kabbalah. But we will now explain how we elevate our intentions to the all-encompassing field, which connects absolutely everything with each other.
Like drops of water can dissolve the hardest stones, constant prayer will open up the wall that separates this world from the other world. Prayer in Kabbalah doesn't mean constantly repeating 'gimme, gimme,' but it is the elevation of our thoughts and intentions to the next higher spiritual degree. This degree represents our own future state of correction. When I adopt its properties, all the blessings that it contains will be mine. Every next higher spiritual degree differentiates itself from the one below it through the aspect of selflessness. Selflessness means that I can use all my present desires in order to share. To practice giving, I need a community of like-minded people. Through the community I can learn to come out of my own skin and to see how big the world actually is outside my own five senses. In the common study we elevate something we call MaN - Mayin Nukvin (female waters). This can be compared to a female that is preparing itself for mating with the male. So it emits lustful fluids for tempting the male. Similarly, our mind attracts the divine light through raising constant intentions. And even stronger this can become when we connect intention in thoughts with speech, which means that we elevate our desires while we recite the holy texts. This will open up the doors to the divine reality, and we, for the first time, will see how big the world really is when we manage to come out of our ego. And from this divine reality, we can begin to manifest. Which means that from now on, we're no longer playballs of a seemingly blindfolded destiny, but we've become players in the grand scheme.
